Pygmalion Fantasy is a collection of 16 sampled tape loops. These are recordings of physical objects, not digital loops. Instead of affixing them to the end of a song or burying them beneath layers of other sounds as I have in past releases, I wanted to present them unaltered and unobscured. The obtuse rhythm of these uneven mantras is only insularly logical through their repetition. The point where the tape is spliced and stitched back together is often random, done wherever their previous owners last paused the cassette. In this way, the loops are serendipitous and fated.

From the past 7 years of creating tape loops, this collection contains my favorites. Sometimes unsettling, sometimes sentimental, sometimes melancholy. I hope you can find one that puts you in some sort of trance.

The tape loops are 23 centimeters long. The album is approximately 23 minutes long. The date is 11 + 12 = 23.
